Eligible small businesses in Western Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory can access up to five hours of tailored, one-to-one digital guidance with Kasia Jones through the BUSY Business Digital Solutions program.

Eligible small businesses can access up to 5 hours of one-to-one advisory support for a one-off upfront cost of $110 (including GST). Your support can be divided into several online appointments, allowing you to work through the right priorities at a realistic pace.

Businesses experiencing demonstrated financial hardship may access this support at no cost.

Available to eligible, for-profit businesses with 19 or fewer full-time equivalent employees.

The Digital Solutions program, funded by the Australian Government, is delivered by BUSY Business across Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia. McNaught Media supports program delivery through one-to-one digital advisory sessions.

The Digital Solutions program helps small businesses to make the most of digital opportunities and grow their business. Through the program, small businesses can access free workshops, webinars and self-directed tutorials. Services cover a range of topics including:

introduction to digitalising your small business
social media, digital marketing and selling online
using business software
AI and emerging technologies
cybersecurity and data privacy.

Small businesses can also access 5 hours of one-on-one digital advice from a qualified and experienced business adviser for a small fee.

Eligibility

Can your business apply?

Your business may qualify when it:

operates for profit and has a registered ABN;
is currently trading;
employs no more than 19 full-time equivalent staff; and
is based in Western Australia, Queensland or the Northern Territory.

Sole traders are welcome if they meet the requirements. Businesses in metropolitan, regional and remote areas are covered. Participation in an earlier Digital Solutions round does not prevent you from applying again for the current program.

Application steps

How to request Kasia

Open the BUSY Business Digital Solutions application and complete the eligibility and business details.

At “How did you hear about us?”, select “Digital Advisor”.

Under “Advisor name”, select “Kasia Jones”. This nominates Kasia to work with you.

Finish your registration and make the one-off $110 payment.

After BUSY Business processes the registration and allocates your business to Kasia, you will receive the information needed to arrange your first session. Apply and request Kasia Jones

Digital Solutions FAQ

Does the $110 fee apply to every hour?

No. It is one upfront payment, including GST, which provides an eligible business with up to five hours of individual digital advisory support.

Must the five hours be used in one appointment?

No. The time can be divided across several sessions according to your priorities, progress and availability.

Can the sessions be completed online?

Yes. Kasia works online with eligible businesses throughout WA, Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Can a previous participant apply again?

Yes. A business that joined an earlier program round may submit a new application for the current round.

Is help available if the $110 creates financial hardship?

BUSY Business may provide the advisory support without charge where demonstrated financial hardship applies. Contact BUSY Business directly to discuss your circumstances.
